It was a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States were in Israel during August 2022.
"It is thrilling to witness a new rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019," stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. Canada, which has 7,200 tourists in July 2022 and 6,000 in August isn't much from the United States.
